FINALLY home. Long day has been long. And harrowing. Just

the good:I think I will like it there. 401-K, free life insurance, eligible for company insurance in a year (or 30 day after going full time, whichever comes first), nice coworkers, stock matching if we buy Walmart stock, discount card, profit-sharing, quarterly bonuses, etc ( Read more... )

Just keep telling yourself, "Rent check" about this job. ;) I know it won't really pay your rent fully, but you know what I mean.

Sanctuary was pretty good. My only issues were the fact that Kate's iPhone is some how not only water proof but TSUNAMI PROOF too. LOL

Not diggin' the new theme either. I prefer the instrumental they've had.

i know. rent's about all the paycheck'll cover, too *sigh* but it IS a job

not loving the new theme. i was hoping it'd just be for Kali Part 3 but no joy *pouts* and, hey, if Ashley's guns and bluetooth survived her under water in Fata Morgana, why not Kate's iPhone? Clearly, Henry has tweaked everything the Sanctuary owns (other than his own inventions) to be disaster proof ;p

gah, LJ is playing notification!fail at me *kicks it*

i don't remember adulthood being like this when i had a decent job. even at $8 an hour, i made ends meet fairly well. but, whatever. could be worse, definitely

*pets Henry and hopes they change the theme back soon*

One of the best jobs I ever had was at Wal-Mart, though I didn't know it at the time. My dream job? TO GO BACK TO IT!

We have to do the company cheer? At the end of every meeting?

Really? I was IS Manager at a place where we had PRAYERS BEFORE EVERY MEETING. Yeah, my ass *bleeds* for your cheers.

Go get'em tiger! RAWR!

i think i'd like it better if management were a little more organized and actually, like, knew wtf was going on. but it could be a LOT worse

prayers? *shudders and absently fingers a box-cutter* that makes the cheer seem much more tolerable...

i'm going and getting them. i think. people in charge keep saying "good job" and such anyway which i'm not hearing them tell the other n00bs :)
