here are two starts from the film. they're not spotted. and the prints are not done. i want to print at a lower contrast, tone and lightly hand color. don't give me shit for the hand coloring, i already know you don't like it. i do

Wonderful choice in subject here, she has a timeless quality. Sunlight from overhead is beautiful and makes her a saint instead of the sinner, rewrite-it sister! Can I get a witness!
i wonder why everybody wants to undress in front of you........ROFL......... thanks so much for posting them, Smith!!!!! and when will you learn to update your own website, so you don't have to worry about stupid outfits censoring your artwork........??????? all you need is a free software program to upload those pics and the access data for your website. no html, nothing. this way your pictures are not integrated into the website, but you can quote them and nobody can tell you what to show and what not....... and i like those MUCH better than the digital ones. the first one reminds of me of Leni Riefenstahl stuff and even though i always admired her art, i still can't get over the III. Reich stuff...... with the second one i'm not sure about the busy background. Not sure whether it adds something necessary or takes something away from the foreground.......but i still like it very much i'm looking forward to seeing more of those hopefully....;-)
i don't know what's up with all these dying to be neckit women in my life, but what the heck, i can go with the flow as well as the next guy.
i used to be able to upload images to my website. then my web-queen suggest i switch hosts. and now i can't do a fucking thing on there. AND HAVE SPENT A SIGNIFICANT PORTION OF TIME TRYING...i even called them. so i'm sorry i left ipowerweb.
i really like both of these images...the first one will end up as part of my body of work. the second one i love, but it isa little different from what i usually do. i actually like the busy-ness of it...it takes time to find all the junk and it is pretty enough to make you keep looking at it. it reminds me a little of jock sturges, tho, and that kinda turns me off.
i don't know know leni riefenstahl's work...but that name is ringing a bell. maybe i'll google her.
Leni Riefenstahl was " Hitler's photographer". She did a lot of different stuff later ( i think she was around 100 when she died), but what came to my mind was her work around the Olympic games 1936. She did a lot of this " arische Rasse" beautiful people pics, sportlers, heros...and quite often with this perspective from below to create this " adoration" atmosphere. I have many of her pics memorized ( did i tell you that i have a photographic memory?), but unfortunately i wouldn't know where to find them online.....
