It's been a while since I've posted, so I figure that I'd better post something ( Read more... )

I wonder how surprised Mr. Naismith would be about how much his little game has changed since he innovated it.

good health and luck with car repair.

He wouldn't recognize it with the guards being allowed in the forecourt and with more than three dribbles allow before a pass. :)

I've also edited the post to add something that I was too mentally out of it to remember initially.

Join me in fighting the addiction of WarCrack! Seriously I've lost numerous friends to it, and I resist the call. I didn't like MMRPGs though, I prefer single player games more, table top is for groups.

As for the Peach Baskets, well I like it as long as one of two teams (UCLA & Michigan) is still in, Anna only cares in regards to which males around her are going to be sulky. Currently that is her boss, who lost to my father's alma mater Saturday. So she has a happy husband, father-in-law, and grandfather-in-law, but a pissy boss. I agree though it's far to wrapped up. I like the game, but after the game is over I ignore it for most of the week.

I loved Everquest, back in the day, but I never played it obsessively the way that some of my WoW friends play that one. It's like "take time out for dinner, and fresh air, and stuff!" Maybe it's just that I realize that there is life beyond the computer.

And OSU is still in it, so that's the only reason I give two shakes. And the Bowling Green women pulled a surprise upset in the second round, but they're out now, so...

If you have a Chie, I think she needs an Aoi. ~_^

And I am refering to American Idol, but I don't watch it. I just can't escape the LAWL in the media over the fact that this guy isn't getting booted. And because of the Crying Girl last week, they kept showing clip of his screeching his way through "You Really Got Me". He makes alley cats cringe. So add those molestation points back, because I don't watch American Idol, and if someone were to tie me down and try and force me to watch, I might give up state secrets. ~_^

And you're assuming that the Buckeyes are going to beat the Hoyas? Because they sure couldn't last year. ~_^ And I'm not sure if the Gators could get past UCLA. But if it's Florida-OSU for basketball, after it was for football, I think that the nation's going to collectively barf. What are the grad rates for athletes at the two schools? About 10%??? ~_^

Rawr~ Either one, Aoi, Shizuru, it would be....fun. >=D

And do you honestly believe that anyone gives a pewp about Graduating Classes anymore when it comes to sports? So long as they make it out of the oh-so-difficult High School system, it's a (short) matter of time before anyone who is aggressively recruited is tossing away their college education in favor of The Big Bucks.

This is why I'm such a Kobe fan. He completely obliterated "The Bar" and erected made one of his own.

America is fast becoming England (and other Eastern Countries) when it comes to children and sports---scout them while they're still embryos, I say. In second thought....I don't think I'm that interested in watching an embryo's Highlight Reel. @______o

Sorry you've been in a funk. I had some HORRIBLE viral infection a few weeks ago. I was in the fetal position at home for days, so I COMPLETELY sympathize with your pains. :/

*hugs*
Take care of yourself!

Awww! *HUGS* Thanks hun.

Yeah, I still have some chest symptoms. They're saying there's a strain of whooping cough going around town here, and I wonder of that isn't what this is, because it feels like it did when I brought whooping cough back from Anime North in 2001, but not as bad as it was then; as if it's a different strain or I have enough immunity to not get it bad, but get it enough to be uncomfortable. Of course, it doesn't help that it's also time for the pollen to kick my allergies up, too.
