The Easy Six
“Bill,” Laura purred, leaning close. “I would really like to blow on your dice.” She knew he knew she didn’t mean the pair he held.
How in the hell was he supposed to concentrate on his next throw at the craps table with her all in his ear about his dice? “I bet you would,” he said. “You’ve had way too much to drink.”
She giggled. “It would seem so.”
He threw the dice. Bouncing off the far wall, they tumbled to a stop.
“Easy six,” the stickman called.
Bill looked at Laura. “About time,” he said with a smile.
