no help with the work clothing (I do Business Casual, my most formal item are my shoes).

Thank you. It's really a relief. But now, I'm going to go lay down with a tall cool drink!

psst... that was an Army slogan: "We do more before 9am than most people do all day." (It was the predecessor to "Be All You Can Be.") I always wondered why, if that was the case, we didn't knock off at 10?

Is it? Well, shame on me, being married to an X-Ranger and all.

I do knock off at 10. Working for myself, I've come to realize that my brain is really good from dawn until about 10am or 11am, and then useless until 4pm or 5pm. So I take the middle of the day off. I get so much more done when I don't stress out about not getting things done between noon and 4pm.

(I was kind of thinking that, but it's a REALLY old slogan. Like, pre-camouflage and K-pots.)

Good for you, being able to do that. I find myself way too easily distracted, especially during weeks that are meeting-heavy. It takes ages to get back in the groove.

you know...the first week my son was here, i got him to help me move the pile-o-hangable-clothing from his bed (guest bed) to my closet. and i thought "good gods i have a lot of clothes!"

then i read your list. O.O i suppose the difference is because i've moved too much and always weed out what i havent worn in a while as i'm packing. :)

good on you for getting so much done!!! AND on realizing your good working hours and working within them!
