I know! Coincidentally, I came across an email recently that he'd sent me (I guess it must've been early 04?) about a Libertines gig he'd gone to and how fantastic it was. Awwwwww :-D

Are you just not using the internet much these days? Or do you have other sites you're on instead? I have myspace, twitter, and very grudingly (and I only ever sign in to add people who've added me, then sign straight out again) a facebook, if you're interested.
