I just wanted to say that skimming very quickly through this post, I thought you were talking about Yuu-kun (as in top star Matobu Sei) when you wrote about Yuu-chan and my thought process was as such:

1. Aw, she wants stability in a relationship. <3
2. Wait, she wants a *girl*?!??
3. SHE'S A BARTENDER WHAAAAAT?!? -
4. ... oh.

In any case, I sympathize greatly with your missing of Japan. I have a notebook that I used in Japan that nearly makes me weepy everytime I open it ;____; And I agree with the song choices <3

Both songs are beautiful, though I am less attracted to Herrmann & Klein's because it seems to be more of a personal song. Without an attachment to Japan (I've never been there obvs), it's not as heart pulling. ):
