Just opened up the pocket of the little moleskine I carried around in Japan. Contained the following:
- San Francisco -> Osaka boarding pass stub
- all four Elisabeth ticket stubs
- ferris wheel ticket
- Osaka aquarium ticket
- Piconation ticket
- Tezuka museum ticket
- small ad for the international gay night we went to at that club
- email addresses from Haru and Sachiko
- a note Yuu-chan, our bartender, wrote trying to explain something she wants from a girl in a relationship, 一途. I think she meant stability?
brb sobbing and missing Japan immensely.
I meant to upload these two songs when I got back to Cali, but I forgot to.. but I want to share them. The first one I discovered a few weeks before our trip and knew it'd be my Leaving Japan song. The second was sent to me by palais with the instructions not to listen to it until after we'd left. They were the first two songs I listened to on the plane as we departed and became the weepiest weepers since weeps came to weepsville.

These are the announcements we heard for our trains going in and out of Osaka every day. The beat begins picking up at 1:41, and while the rest of the announcements aren't familiar, it's still a really pretty, mellow song that made me sob like a weenie when I finally listened to it on the plane.
