Been listening to Pandora some more and I really feel like it is either missing something or I am not using it correctly. Maybe I stay on one station too long ... or don't add enough diversity to the stations I do listen

Hmm, I've been playing with Pandora a bit, so far I've liked about every other song on my "station" - so if you are using it wrong, at least you're not the only one?

Cool. At least I'm not the only one!

I think part of it is that the system doesn't take lyrics into account - just style of music. And some songs I don't like because their lyrics are lame.

Oh good call, I think that's part of my problem too. (As well as the fact I seems to have given it the impression I like soul-sucking, tedious songs.)

yeah, sometimes i play pandora at work where i don't have my music, if you skip everyother song on a decemberists seeded station it plays only decemberists. I think the more bands you add the better it works out.

also, how dare you turn me into a tag. They're totally going to be able to track my ass now.
