Skin treatment - acid or alkaline (sauer oder basisch?)

If you are going to stay in the bath so long, it is going to get cold. so maybe start it as hot as possible. and take a book to read! Otherwise it is just too boring.

After such a long stay in the water, your skin is going to need some serious moisterizing, be prepared.

I was thinking about letting in a bit of new (hot) water from time to time. Which means, that I'll probably need to add some of the additive too to keep the ph value.
They say to have the temp between 36-38 °C, but that is really a bit cold. Usually I have around 40 °C (at least, I think so, it's warm and cosy).

From everything I've read so far, the alkaline is supposed to take care of your skin so that it starts "greasing" itself. Currently I'm only expecting wrinkles.
We'll see ^^;;;;
