After the rather not so pleasant visit to the Ueno Zoo we went to Asakusa. Usually most tourists go directly to Nakamise and Kaminari-mon from the station, but I went in the other direction, knowing what I'd see there.
Because I often stay in Asakusa, I have been to Kaminari-mon and Sensô-ji several times. I took the exact same pictures of the area near it with all the koi. I think few tourists ever venture there. Few Japanese either [just the occasional one who wants to pray for something].
And I have never seen Nakamise uncrowded! But Harajuku Saturday afternoon? I don't want to try!
The park area is really refreshing after you have shoved yourself through the masses of people in Nakamise *g*
Maybe I just needed to remind myself of why I don't like taking the last train in Japan... Harajuku was crowded just like those trains ^^;;;;
Did you read about the "Sexy Zone" unit? The Japanese-German kid is a member and JE had most likely already decided the members when we saw "Summary", which is why he was allowed to pull this "stunt" *gggg*
1st base, aisle 10, 2nd row, 380-something. It was basically directly behind the kids section. Only two people in front of us (the rest of the 2nd row had no people in front of them; it was actually 1st row, even though it said "2nd row" on the ticket). And those two people were sitting all the time *g*
Are you okay again?
I am really sorry for not replying anymore, but I only noticed your last message much, much later, as we were just changing trains etc when it arrived ;_; And then I thought we might as well wait if you are lucky in Yoyogi (I hope you can catch one of those hearts!). If not, I can still send you a streamer ^_^
Ah it's fine. I figured you were busy getting ready to leave. I was too sick to leave the house anyway. Oh are there hearts too? Like stryofoam hearts?
I think I read somewhere that they are styrofoam, but due to the air con and air flow non went in our direction ;_; Thought what I could see from afar was, that they had the "Our future" logo on them too ^^
