I recognized that church right away, St Séverin. It is one of my favorite Paris churches. Did you get to visit the interior? The ceiling is wonderful, especially the walking area around the altar. The arches above the columns make them look like palm trees.
I did live in Paris several years from 17 on when I was going to university, and have been back many times. Often I cannot resist cheap winter air fares and go shiver for a few days or a week.
Btw, the Musée du Moyen Age is the former Paris residence of the abbots of Cluny, built in the XVth century, which explains its aspect. But maybe you knew that.

We did walk around in the church, and I'm sure we looked at the ceiling, as we always do in churches, but... uhm... yeah...
I'll blame the exhaustion for not remembering much of the insides St-Séverin (and all the other impressions we got during our stay)?
