I love those flowers! Btw, all but the cream ones [and one bush at the forefront of the distance photo] are azaleas, rather than rhododendrons. Same plant family, of course.
Here the azaleas are almost over. They are among my favorite shrubs. By choosing wisely, you can have some in bloom from early April to late June. Some of the Satsukis are very later bloomers, and the American deciduous wild azaleas also bloom late, as they are cool forest shrubs.
