After we measured the new flat yesterday, we started to figure out where to place what and what new furniture we still need. Especially the hunt for a new BIG wardrobe is a bit... not so funny. Obviously we need at least 2,50 m, more would be preferred and those wardrobe are all quite expensive (299 &euro

Yes, wardrobes are expensive. It is nice if you have closets, or can make some dead space into a closet...
