all citizens should have the exact same rights and responsibilities.

Yes! Because it is really as simple as that. As a citizen of my country I want equal rights (somehow they managed to make me accept the responsibilities years before I actually received any of the rights)

Yes, it's just what I was thinking. Such a completely simple statement, no? Such a completely simple, natural thing to expect one should think.

It sounds honest, and I don´t doubt someone in his position gets to say quite a few things that are pure politics or just being polite.

I think so, too. And truth is there are many other things he could have said. Because there are many other things that would have been very common things to say in such a situation but not at all positive.

& hearts, mister Ronaldo.

This amazes me far more than this stupid
and a TV show said that I was gay and I laughed so hard blahblah ...

Yes :)

And true, because the thought of being gay is so totally ridiculous... :/ I don't think I commented on it anywhere, but I found this statement pretty offensive :(

Yeah, because we gay folks are kind of nice in funny sort of way, but he can´t be `that way` because that would be ridiculous...

whoever said this=

That's exactly it. It's just one of those things that leave me gaping like 'Häh? wtf?!' Did he even think a moment about what that means he just said? Or is that the problem? his entire perception?

(I don't even know if I should bring it up, but just to avoid anyone getting a wrong idea, Piqué said it when asked about that picture of him and Zlatan.)

The baby! The Cristianochen! Voicing an opinion that might not be that cool in footballer circles. I am so proud! Whee! *bursts with helpless love*

Really, really good for him. Especially since I have the sneaking suspicion that homosexuality in football might not be any more popular in Portugal than it is in England.
