Yes! Because it is really as simple as that. As a citizen of my country I want equal rights (somehow they managed to make me accept the responsibilities years before I actually received any of the rights)

It sounds honest, and I don´t doubt someone in his position gets to say quite a few things that are pure politics or just being polite.

I think so, too. And truth is there are many other things he could have said. Because there are many other things that would have been very common things to say in such a situation but not at all positive.

I guess most footballers are aware now that being all out anti/gay is not done any more in polite society, but I guess they can always use the same old I have nothing against gays, it´s the fans that don´t like it, or the other clubs.
