Ch-Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes

So this whole miscarriage thing has made me realize a lot of things in my life. It's made me realize for one, how badly I want to be a mother. I mean I knew that to begin with, and when I got pregnant it was just like... God. The moment I'd been waiting for for so long. And now that I've lost my baby, I feel like... Like I'm back where I started. ( Read more... )

your grace and maturity have been really beautiful, natalie. you guys are dealing with this so well because of your firm, strong relationship and that is the most encouraging thing in the world--knowing that when you do get pregnant you will provide stability and a loving family for your child. That's how every child should enter the world, but sadly that isn't the case. Your turn will come :)

I'm going to start a blanket for you because by the time I finish it your baby will probably be two years old... I always have good intentions but my attention span wanders a lot. ;P what colors should I use? I'd like to make something gender-neutral but also in colors that you and Josh like and might be using in a nursery...

Lots of love to you and Josh, gnat. I lit a candle at church on Christmas Eve for your baby and for you guys that your recovery and healing goes well and fast so you can start trying again soon :) yay babies!

I am very sorry about what happened. We were to be pregnancy buddies! I agree with what Kathleen said. You're dealing with this with so much maturity. She of course put it much more eloquently than I ever could. :)

That is such a wonderful thing to do Nat. You will be so glad you are in shape when you get preggers again. I, too had started a blanket, but I put it away, it's bean's blanket and I want to keep it to always remember him. I am still sad, but the 'devastated' feeling is getting less and less ( ... )

Hey Natalie,

I'm glad you are doing the best you can with everything. I so know how you are feeling. Let me know if there is anything else I can do. I thought about getting into shape, too, although it's probably a lot easier for you to be motivated to do that. When are you going to the doctor again--or have you already been?

Our doctor's appointment is Wednesday.. I'm hoping that everything has taken care of itself, and that my body will get itself back into the swing of things relatively soon. How are you doing with everything?

That was a super-fast response to my comment. It sounds like your body may have dealt with things faster than mine, which I guess could be a blessing in disguise if you don't have to take the icky drugs that make you miserable for a night. Anyway, I suppose things are going okay. I'll update you later on with more details.
