[Addendum to previous postage: After my blessay about bumper stickers, I was driving up the Tonkin Highway and was overtaken by a car with a sticker saying "My other ride is yo mama". That man gets massive points. I love a yo mama joke ( Read more... )

My sister has the custom plate "VENOMISS". She thinks it's really clever. Every time I see it, I want to kill her and then myself.

I always want to bash my head on a brick wall whenever I see those plates declaring the model of the car as well. I wonder what these morons do when they write off their riced up Commodore and have to putter around in a old bomb Bluebird for a while.

seaturtlekate and sailorjedi can attest to the following story, cause we were all in Kates car at the time...

We were driving to the Bangles concert 18 months ago and suddenly Kate starts giggling as only Kate can... T and I are trying to work out what had set her off when she points to the car in front of us and says "Great number plate"....

The number plate was...

BAA BAA

Okay... strange but not what you would call "great".

We must have come across a bit blank as Kate then points out the car it was on

Does it help if I were to tell you it was a Black Jeep!

I love your rants, they make me feel like Im not the only person out there that rants about random things, and that makes you brilliant.

On this topic I have one thing to say. I don't normally like americanisms or just the stupid names they have for somethings but I have to say I like what they call personalised plates: Vanity Plates. Kinda sums up you post huh?

Yeah, I normally dislike Americanisms by default but "vanity plates" is just absolutely perfect.
