[Recipe] Macaroni and Cheese

We haven't kept boxes of macaroni and cheese around the house forever. It's one of those things where if I get a craving, the stuff from the box just won't do. This, however, will.

i generally make the cheese sauce and pour it over the pasta without the baking myself.

So you fully cook the pasta and then bake it in the sauce for another 35 minutes? Doesn't that give you like, crazy mushy pasta? (I have never made a baked pasta dish in my life other than lasagna.)

I've never gotten mushy pasta from this recipe or any casserole-type thing. I suspect the baking, if anything, leeches moisture from the dish.

That would make sense. I am simply paranoid regarding mushy pasta for some reason.

Heh! I've had that same conversation a few times. It starts with "Whaaat?" and ends with "Must have!"

I don't know where you would find it up there. Whole Foods, maybe?
