Hey, the Emmy prenoms came out today. I'm only going to post the ones for the soaps I watch because I haven't been diligent enough to run around the internet and check out the other lists.
The way the Daytime Emmy process goes, the show votes for their own people, and the top two in each category are submitted to the Emmys for consideration (in the event of a tie like in AMC's case above, there may be more than two). The Emmy peeps take all the submissions for each show and make the official noms accordingly.
So that's what the prenom list is. In a month or so, the official noms will come out.
