yesterday I did something that I've wanted to do for a while but never got up the courage to do before: I ate dinner in a nice restaurant by myself and didn't hide behind a book

Yay! Snow!! And I totally respect your courage. I never, ever go by myself without a book, even for the things that are hard to eat with one hand.

hee, yeah, I've done that before. chicken madeira at cheesecake factory is difficult to eat while reading a book, but somehow I accomplished it.

yes, the sushi place two blocks away. plus, it was snowing outside, so I was able to look out the windows at the snow coming down, and the three people waiting for a bus that I wasn't sure was going to come. :)
