Ugg, this makes me regret keeping my voter registration at my parents address and not registering here in Mississippi. Unfortunately, its too late to register in time for this election. Otherwise, I could vote against it.

Well, if it ever hits my home state, I'll be ready. The sad thing is, I fear this thing has a good chance of passing in MS. :(

The fuck? I guess they don't know enough about basic biology to realize that about 1/4 of all pregnancies end in miscarriage before the mother even knows she's pregnant. So that would make god (I assume that amendment is driven at least in part by crazed religious politicians? Forgive me if I'm wrong) the greatest abortionist in the history of ever.

You have put your finger on one of the largest of all the things that infuriate me (and there are MANY) about this piece of idiocy. If this becomes law, how long before every woman who loses a baby will come under investigation for possible murder, or at the least manslaughter?
