It would not be unlike EJO and Katee to pull us one - if the vid blogs are any indication :)
Still, I think EJO was right, and David has to react, cause otherwise the core of the plot is out in the open. En he obviously is not a big fan of that. He doesn't wants the question to be "in what episode do we reach Earth?" but "Will they reach Earth this season at all? Will Laura see the end of the season?"
As about the 'about face' in Bill's relationship with Laura ... Either it's the Lee-thing or, more likely, Laura dumps him when he admits to be the Last of the Final Five. (Not the Cylon God, no. Everyone knows Cottle is the Cylon God)
I don't know that I care if they do one more season or two but listening to the podcasts RDM sounded an awful lot like he had an end in sight. Eick has been remarkably absent through most of season 3 (maybe after 'Hero' they threw him out of the writing room) so I really think RDM has more of creative control in Eick at this point. As long as they do it right. Course pissing off EJO is a VERY bad thing and Eick wasn't particularly kind in his tone in the release. I would rather NOT have an NCIS Harmon/ Bellisorio thing on BSG.
I also don't think the news about them finding Earth is news especially since RDM said it in the podcast months ago. And ratings wise the network is only going to give them so much latitude. Cross your fingers maybe Michael Hogan or MM will get an Emmy nod this year.
