OMG, what kind of woman lets her kids DO stuff like that???? That is so dangerous!
Wait...the kind of woman who bitches people out for no good reason simply because they are concerned for the safety and well-being of all concerned! D'OH! My bad.
I'm all about lazy responsible parenting. I'm not the kind of mom who obsessively washes her kid's hands or doesn't let her pick anything up, but there's a difference between wanting your kid to simply BE a kid by picking up bugs and stuff, and allowing your child to be in a place that has the potential to be fatally harmful.
Yeah, I am all about letting kids be kids, but in a safe way! Letting them play around stuff that could potential hurt, maybe even kill them, is just irresponsible and down right negligent.
On a happier note, the apartment complex took my friend's side. There is going to be a no children allowed policy enforced. Thank God!
That's just sad. Honestly if the woman can't find someone to watch her kids while she works out maybe she should try walking WITH her kids.
And the language... Years down the road she's going to be wishing she would've used proper language because that's all she's going to hear out of their mouths.. UHHH
It really is sad. I had a gym membership to a gym that offered children's work out services as well. I could work out while my kids took part in a child appropriate activity that had them moving, grooving, and being active. With my crazy work schedule I am now a "park" mommy. I honestly think I get more of a work out runnign around with them at the park than I did at the gym and the park is free!
Oh I know. The language. Egads that made me cringe the most. Kids hear stuff in public places all the time that they shouldn't. To hear that a mother is being so tactless with her words is just eye rolling. The fact that they fell of her tongue so freely and without thought makes me think she uses them quite often.
