Submit your prompts for the Kara Thrace Gen Fic Battle here.
This will work much in the same way the porn battles do, but remember, romance is not the point here. It can be an element, but it should not be the focus of your piece. Kara Thrace is many things. She's a soldier, she's a fighter, she's a pilot, she's a daughter, she's a parent (briefly), she's a believer. All of those are rich areas to delve into for storytelling.

Prompts may be simple words, phrases, concepts, or quotes you’d like used. I heartily encourage specific and unusual prompts.
Sample: religion, gifts, lock and load, the lie she didn't tell, “For once, it wasn’t her fault.”
Submit as many prompts as you like as often as you like before July 11 at 11:59 PM EST.
Get your thinking caps on and HAVE FUN! I'll post a master list of all prompts sometime on July 12 and open up a thread for fic posting at midnight on July 14.
