OK, first I wanted to fill y'all in on this fun little tidbit. My brother works for NEMA (the NE version of FEMA) and all the buzz around the office has been that if January continues to be as cold as it is now and all the rivers get a nice thick layer of ice, come spring we could be looking at flooding on the level of the 1993 floods. You're absolutely right, this person took the entirely wrong angle with the percentage thing. It should be obvious how you're supposed to do that, really.

Oh SPN...I think as far as the race!fail is concerned, it's something that a LOT of US tv shows suffer from. And as you said, a lot of that can be put on the casting directors ( ... )
