Thought this was a pretty funny point from Jon Stewart: "We have to at some point use the same urgency and preparedness that we brought to taking over other country's oil... (whispered): to cleaning up our own."
Let's just say I think the single best thing that could possibly have happened to Torchwood would have been Ianto dying in Cyberwoman, as originally planned.
My major ships for Torchwood are Jack/Owen, followed by Jack/ABI (Anybody But Ianto).
My icon sums up my opinion of Ianto and the J/I so-called canon slash "relationship."
Oh honey! Do you know what it's being a Jack/ABI shipper who believes that Jack loves the Doctor and reallyreally wants to shag Gwen (and Tosh and Owen) and pretty much lost interest in Ianto about two seconds after the stop-watch scene (assuming there was anything interesting you can really do with on) in the midst of these hordes of rabid fangirls who desperate NEED to believe that Jack loved Ianto and that they had a schmmopy-oopy curtain-buying two-wuv, rather than the admitting that Jack used Ianto and kept using him because Ianto kept throwing himself at him, even thought he was bored out of his kugel most of the time?
It ain't easy. I've been villified and mocked for insisting that as far as Jack is concerned Ianto was a barely utilitarian fuck-toy. (Emphasis on the barely.)
