In his last years he took up playing the bodhrán and St. Patricks day was HIS day, when his group would appear at various Irish pubs and venues around Marin County.

Hopefully he's got a great bunch of musicians around him now and they are playing up a storm in heaven's best Irish bar.

For about a month I've been sporting Bizarre Blurple by China Glaze, which was given to me by Sebastian, along with some glitter polish that I passed along to chocolate_frapp. The Blurple fit my winter gloom and in bar-light looked black, which gave me the appearance of an aging goth ( Read more... )

Because Hubby and I are planning to go out and try a new Indian Restaurant called Gajalee. According to my aunt, he's walked, he's sitting up, he's eating and she even put him on speaker phone so I could talk for a few minutes. The biggest problem seems to have been teaching him how to swallow.

There's some question as to whether he can go back to the assisted living facility he's been in or if he has to go to the hell hole nursing home ( Read more... )
