All homage to the K, had no idea how the hell you were going to do that but evil, you are - evil genius. I didn't think my toes were ever going to uncurl, until I got to the end. Go Gwen! Now that is the Gwen I would like to see on screen.

I honestly didn't either, but once I got the bunny, it just came POURING OUT! My betas really helped kick it into shape and now I'm really proud of it. Thanks so much for going on the ride with me.

Heh. Never Will I Write. How did you manage? That would be like me writing, oh, I don't know, Peter/Mohinder, or Sylar/Mohinder. *shudders*

This is the first Torchwood fic I ever read, and I don't know much about this or Doctor Who, but it seems pretty interesting. I like the ending. I surely see how much you love Janto. *snickers*

I thought you said Rhys was okay...?

It's my conviction that if challenged or dared, Karaokegal can do anything. It's sort of the same idea behind "Come As You're Not." It sort of a rebuke to my former internet soul mate who turned into a pissy wench when it was even suggested that she try to break out her comfort zone.

Rhy did survive in the original show, which some of the Gwen-haters took very badly. So the idea in this fic was to give them what they said they wanted, which was J/I shmoopy-oopy twu-wuv and Gwen being hurt in some way.

Thanks for reading and commenting, despite not knowing the fandom. I appreciate it.

When I got the first draft of this the end came a little more from left field than it does now, but you know what? I still loved it. Because hell has no fury and all that :D

Also,as you know, I am not the biggest Ten or Gwen fan so it gave me a perverse amount of pleasure for them to be flying off together.

Thanks for all your hard work on this, especially while you were fighting the headache from hell.

I basically envisioned the end first and wrote backwards to get there. And I'm happy to give you a "happy ending." It's like when I encouraged people to match up 13 (the House MD character) and Ianto. (See, I don't hate him. I want him to have a sexual American bi-sexual. And get far, far away from Jack.)

I'm pretty sure 13 would eat Ianto up *whole*.

Scary!
Don't think Gwen got bashed much though... :)

A certain segment of the bash crowd has wished long and loudly for Gwen to have the lost the baby and for Rhys to have died in addition to Ianto not dying. Plus I gave them their schmoopy-oopy fluffy-wuffy Jack/Ianto true love, didn't I? And of course they should be thrilled that Gwen isn't a threat to J/I. What more could they possibly want?

Well, ok, going off w/ the Doctor seems like a better than fair trade for losing Rhys and the baby (or perhaps I'm just weird like that) ;)

Also most Gwen bashing makes her look dumber than a box of rocks.

In your story, she seems intelligent (which she is)!

Well, she's also gone off the deep end a bit, and can be seen (depending on the shade of your hate goggles) as a manipulative bitch.

I'm not sure it's a "fair trade," but it is intended to give the bashers what they say they want. With a slightly evil twist, of course. :) For them to admit that it's not a happy ending is to have to admit who and what Jack really wants.

Sweeeeeeet! Love the thought of Gwen running off with the Doctor while Jack is trapped in the suburbs.
