At least for the time being, which is a blessing like you cannot believe. One of the things that really worked my last good nerve the last time around was the dueling, blaring tv sets of the noisy neighbors in the next bed

Private room is good news, even if it's only temporary. Every day that you and he get the peace and quiet is a day closer to him being able to come home and a day less in the melee, so I'll cross all my appendages for a full house in the dorm for as long as possible

Thanks sweetie. Last time around, I got the nails done while he was having the first surgery. I realize no one would fault me for this, although I tend to wonder if any of my stalkers are paying attention right now, or if they only tune in for the fannish wank stuff.

It's going to be a long wait before the 2nd surgery, and because of Robo-cop leg, he can't even get around in a wheelchair. I'm so glad he took up knitting and crocheting during the last recovery because at least that gives him something besides reading and television.

Nah. I'm sure that your stalkers see any fandom crimes they perceive you commit as far more serious than anything you might do in real life. I'm sure that none of them give a monkeys what you do in your real life. And anyway, if people are prepared to condemn you anonymously because you have a difference of opinion [not right vs. wrong, but opinion] in F!S and wank then they aren't worth anyone's time anyway.

I'm glad too that he has stuff to keep him occupied other than just reading or TV. At least it gives some variety, and the sense of achievement of having completed something whilst he's confined to barracks.

Thanks! Gotta keep the maintennance up as long as I can. This was supposed to be my week to take care of myself. I also have a doctor's appointment set up for Wednesday. (Pap etc.)

I know. And this is supposed to be my vacation week as well. Tomorrow nails, Wednesday, doctor's appointment. Not sure how much else I'll get done, but the writing is going to happen no matter what.
