You're not the only person who does this -- I've flat out stopped using a glasses case, because when I have used a glasses case, I've wound up 'losing' my glasses. (It's part of the never-put-anything-in-a-safe-place-you'll-never-see-it-again contingency.)
I rue the day I have to change anything about my house or routine -- it means something will get lost in the shuffle, and I won't know what until after it's too late.
I desperately need SOME way to remember that I have to log out of the new "big brother" phones that management is using to track our actual work hours.
It's just not something I think of doing when I'm trying to get out of the office and my blood sugar is plummenting.
