Summary: Star Fleet needs Torchwood. What could possibly go wrong?
Accepting Jim’s death was hard enough; now he was confronted with a man who completely defied the rules of mortality.
The attack by the so-called “informants” was brutally efficient and Spock fully intended to return to Star Fleet and report the mission as a failure. Yet here was Jack Harkness walking toward him, very much alive.
A human might have expressed a mixture of annoyance and relief. Spock’s Vulcan reflexes allowed him to greet the resurrected Harkness with the barest hint of amusement.
“Good to see you on your feet, Captain.”
He could only imagine what McCoy would have said.
