XD I think with the rings thing coming so late it ties in quite neatly, funnily enough - we had that long emphasis on the colt early in the season and then when that failed there was all that desperate clutching at straws and giving up and breaking apart and OH BOYS, and then suddenly Gabriel's gone "Yeaaaaaah, you know how you guys completely suck at noticing anything useful like the horsemen all carrying rings? Might want to make use of that fact. KISS KISS BYE BYE".

CANNOT WAIT FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE SERIES OMGGGGGG and if Castiel dies I will cry forever.
