I hated the glucose test. They wouldn't let me pee during the waiting time, either, and I believe I threatened to vomit on the front desk staff because they were being bitchy.

Oo... they didn't say anything about not peeing. They just gave me a bottle of syrup (*yuck*) and told me to drink it an hour before coming in next time. I'll read the instructions again...

Oh, nice, they made me come in to drink the barfy syrup. And, yeah, no one had warned me beforehand that I couldn't pee. To this day I suspect the nurse got confused between the procedures for the glucose test and the ultrasound.

I've taken the damn thing 3x now. You get to pee. Someone screwed you over Connie Lynne! You can't eat or drink though.

And in case they didn't warn you. Watch what you eat or drink beforehand, you can screw yourself with a carb/sugar heavy meal before.
