Freak and I spend most of our vacations walking. Put two ADD-addled adults who want to see everything in a foreign city, and can metabolize for hours on energy drinks and sugar, and well.. that's just how we roll. Or walk ( Read more... )

I really like Merrell shoes.

And while lots are sporty/ugly...they also have some very nice looking mary jane styles and even some sandal styles...I know DSW shoe warehouse carries a few models.

For me they are just the most comfy shoes ever....

I would go try some on, because they might not fit the curve of your foot like they do mine.

Ask Heather about the really amazing slip-on hiking shoes she got me. They were like little slices of heaven, strapped to my feets.

I wear a paif of slip on Adidas nearly every day. Great for street walking, and mountain hiking. I wouldn't use them for severe mountain climbing, but they'll pretty much ensure you dont look like a tourist, won't have blisters and they look smart with a pair of jeans to boot.

What about these or something else from Timberland? I have a taller pair of Timberland boots that I love passionately and are wonderfully comfortable.
