Celtic Music Is Not A Spectator Sport

Last night Tua's brother B. took the whole family and some friends to the Town Hall of Tunbridge to hear Scottish music - traditional and original - played by Old Blind Dog.  I had known nothing of the band, but left a CD-owning fan-for-life.  My one regret is that I still don't know how to dance, and this resolved me to get my damn driver's ( Read more... )

If you're referring to the concert, it was. If you're referring to the ceilidh, it will be. And you guys will have to come; there must be something we can work out for winter visitors with children . . .

But that's a couple years away. In the meantime, Tua and I are talking about coming down to visit. Is there a good time coming up?

In other news, I've started taking Irish dance lessons - not ceili, but step, which I loooooooove.
