Celtic Music Is Not A Spectator Sport

Last night Tua's brother B. took the whole family and some friends to the Town Hall of Tunbridge to hear Scottish music - traditional and original - played by Old Blind Dog.  I had known nothing of the band, but left a CD-owning fan-for-life.  My one regret is that I still don't know how to dance, and this resolved me to get my damn driver's license and take lessons.

Tunbridge needs a ceilidh - a winter dance - complete with good Scottish music and lessons in rudimentary Scottish dances.  I plan on organizing one in the next couple of years.  It also needs a pub.   That will take a bit longer.

(The title of this post is a paraphase of Kathleen Norris's statement about Gregorian chant.)
