Winter fun
L. and J. visited last week. We had fun wandering around Hanover, although the chocolate shop we wanted to go to was closed for the day. The owners were installing a new computer system, but they let us look around. If the chocolate is good quality, this place will be better than Mondell's - they have everything! So we didn't get chocolates, which was probably a good thing, but we did have excellent sledding the next day. All that rain we got made a layer of ice so thick, it was hard to stop the sled before plunging into the ravine at the bottom of the hill.
Tua and I spent the weekend at a B&B in Jeffersonville VT. Unfortunately, it was too windy to go snowshoeing at Smuggler's Notch, but we did take some good walks lower down the mountain, and we ate very well. And it was blessedly good to get away!
