Hm, serial killers or killers like that always caused a certain attraction to many people and dragged the die-hardest of them as their admirers and worshippers behind them.
Think of Charles Manson - how many love-letters did he get over all those years in prison? For sure, a ton. He was quite a sought one among those killers.

Then... I don't want to know how many fangirls existed (or still exist) who once fancied Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, the perpetrators of the Columbine massacre.
- And even them copycatted an "us two against the rest of the world"-scheme, coming from the movie "Natural Born Killers" (where you havethe characters Mickey and Mallory Knox as a serial killer couple).
