At this point people 50+ or immunocompromised are CDC-recommended for _five_ shots, because the CDC now considers 3 shots the primary series, plus 2 boosters: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/recommendations/immuno.html

I'll be getting my 5th shot this week and will just plan to get an Omicron shot in 4 months regardless of what the CDC has recommended by then. It's not like there's any scarcity at this point.

For sure if I were to follow the CDC guidance I'd get a shot tomorrow. This still might happen.
