As evil as it is, someone can also bring it up for the pro-abortion fraction that this topic is also one about humans' ecological footprint on this planet.

Absolutely, that's the #1 reason why I donate money to help poor women get abortions. Avoiding another human birth is the #1 best thing a living human can do about climate change and mass extinctions.

I wish we could get people to view having children as the single worst thing they can do to everything living on Planet Earth, instead of celebrating pregnancy and childbirth. It's not so much about whether you drive an electric car, put solar panels on your roof, or recycle your trash - it's about how many children you have.

People always regard such a view as misanthropic. Or like you're against children in general.
They feel attacked in a part of their privacy and like someone wants to take something away from them that's emotionally very important to them. (Strange, my sex identity is also very important to me, but do people care? No they still fucking use the wrong pronouns and give a shit...)

They're so absorbed in their egoism, in my opinion, they absolutely reject the fact that the world didn't wait for their genes to continue existing on this earth - and that the earth itself can also do without it. It's not going to go down from it.
