...And I wish I could let brains rain from the sky to make people stop creating a personal religion out of their not-exceptionally-male-not-exceptionally-female-ness which they think to need to molest the rest of the world with and demand bullshit from fellow citizens...
You know, I just think that people make a big fuss about something which actually isn't an issue, they just make one out of it. And while that, they make a fool of themselves by demanding stuff that's outside of every mainstream-serviceable frame.
And all that because American culture is as immature as fuck (I have to say it like that, sorry) and likes to externalize problems instead of trying to solve them internally at first...
I'm no fan of American culture! Both of my Sirs come from other countries LOL. It's a big reason why I like living in DC, we have so many people here on visas and Green Cards and such. It's much more fun than the rest of the US.
I wish we could make "they" go away in this context. They is plural.
Like "actor", I would like "he" to be the new way of identifying ANYONE. Or coin an entirely new word.
"They" just makes me crazy. "I went to dinner last night with Bob Kozakawicz. They made me laugh so hard I sprayed them with ice water."
It's funny, but in the last two years I've realized I'll die soon, and I can give a great big "so what" about the fucking up of our language. Not soon-soon, but in the next ten or fifteen years. And then it won't be my problem anymore. I just have another glass of wine and let it go.
