I know Howie. I am pretty sure he would laugh at your little prayer. Or at least crack a smile. (He's a pretty earnest guy.) But he has plenty more reasons why you should vote for him.

If he won he would not be able to completely dismantle capitalism and he knows it. He might increase your taxes some but your life would go on much as it has. It's the poor whose lives would change.

Yep, that's the crux of it.
Socialism would mean "you'll wear your clothes until they're bust", "you're not going to do an annual travel to a Mediterranean country", "for stuff that you want, you'll have to save up money to buy it" and "you're going to have to repair things instead of throwing them away and buying new".

Simple to say: Everyone will have to get habits like sophisticated poor people which must/want to make the most of the few they have.
