OK, I know that MisKnits is open until 9 PM on Wednesday nights for "people to get together and make some progress on those unfinished projects"... Are there any other craft, yarn, bead, etc... stores that also do this? I'm trying to crawl out of my shell a little bit and actually (OMG!) met new people...

I know that Urban Arts + Crafts occassionally holds crafty get-togethers for ATC (Artist Trading Cards).

Also, there's kc_crafters in which you'll see lots of posts from me about monthly Church of Craft meetings. Our next meeting is Saturday August 4th, 2:30pm to 4:30pm. However, the community is not just for Church of Crafters in KC, it's just a crafty KC community. :)
