So I was driving through Westport tonight, and noticed a new sign: Miss Knits. A new yarn store?! Google shows nothing... anyone here have any info?

Brand new store - it has a blog at www.miskits.com and it is run by an absolutely lovely woman (a friend of mine). It opened last weekend.

There is a new yarn store opening this morning at 39th & Terrace in the Midtown area of Kansas City. It is called MisKnits , and owned by a good friend of mine, (Ly. Almedha for those of you in the SCA). I can tell you from first-hand experience she has some nice, quality yarn. Her hours are from 11-7 Tuesday through Saturday, and 1-5 on Sunday.

The SCA are those historical authenticity buffs, who tend to be picky about their craft supplies. So I would expect it to be a great store!
