I've been using Verizon Wireless for the past seven years. That whole time I've only had service be unavailable twice, but for a very short time. I've traveled the country with no probs and even made it to the other side of the planet and still had service(even in Pakistan!)
Some buildings are not wireless friendly. It may have to do with the way the building is insulated or how much metal is in the walls that prevent the cell signal to get through. Nothing stepping outside or near a window could fix though.
I think it's funny that you have shitty Sprint service since their headquarters is in Merriam or whatever anyway HAHAHA! I hate that company.
But I have T-Mobile and unless you're in a low populated area... OR at Sandstone Amphitheater (which, if you had Verizon would be the ONLY cell phones to work consistently out there)... you get good reception, I think.

That was true a few years back... they now have three towers on the campus itself (and 70,000 less employees) so I haven't had problems with the campus-area drops for a few years. They simply had TOO MUCH TRAFFIC in that one little area. The irony of it was simply amusing though.
