Jim was resting along a steep hill a short distance away from the household, quietly enjoying the gentle stream of the sun's rays, content to rest comfortably before the sun set. He was without his beloved crocodile partner; Karen was hard to rouse when she was deep in sleep, and Jim had gave up trying to wake her for an afternoon walk after thirty minutes were spent in the attempt.
As a sudden gust of wind embraced Jim’s still form, the tall male sat up, scanning the area with a tired yawn. He blinked his visible eye, and found himself smiling as his gaze drifted down towards the long pathway that led up to the house.
He couldn’t see the figure well; the cloak concealed them in a perfect veil of disguise, but Jim noticed a glimpse of wild, luminous blue hair: one he could recognize easily.
At the other end of the path was someone who he knew well. While it wasn't his Aniki it was still nice to be greeted by someone he knew, and he liked Jim. As he moved away from the gate he called back with a smile and a wave, "Hey Jim."
It wasn't until he got a bit closer, so that shouting was necessary anymore that he added anything; getting in before Jim could.
"So, how have you been? I haven't missed much have I?"
This wasn't code for 'Juudai-hasn't-done-something-stupid-now-has-he' at all. Not really. He has faith in his Aniki after all. Ok it is a little.
Jim took in the sight of Shou - the cloak was a nice touch - and Jim smiled, noting the small change in the smaller boy's eyes. As if he had grown stronger since his departure.
"I've been good, mate." Jim smiled. "And not that I know of, really. I've usually been out and about, so I haven’t been able to really focus on much at the house." He sounded a bit embarrassed, but he also had his own things to work out too, so it was hard keeping track of himself and the matters of the household. (This being Jim code for 'I-have-trouble-sitting-still.')
As for the hidden concern of Judai, Jim just shrugged to himself and chuckled. Judai wouldn't be Judai if he didn't attract attention/get in trouble, right?
"So, why don't you fill everyone in at the house over dinner? It should be done by now." Jim didn't want to make Shou repeat everything a million times; might as well make it easy on him. He looked tired.
Returning from where she had been taking a quick bath in the stream after work, Asuka combed her damp hair with one hand as she tried to get some of the water from her ear. That was probably why she had missed the first shout of Shou's name, but luckily her boys were loud enough she didn't miss the second one.
Catching Shou's voice, Shou who had vanished with only a note, Asuka started to race up the grassy hill, not quite sure what she was going to do with that boy when she got to him. "Shou!"

Looks like someone was back from their journey.
“Hey, Shou..!”
