He was still not quite used to the forest after the streets of Gotham, but it was growing on him, and he found himself enjoying the weather, scenery as he made his way back into town.
He was walking up to his when he paused, and strode up to the man sitting with a quite impressive display of ware before him.
"Ginko." He calmly made himself at home, sitting before the other man. His eyes were a little too intense on him, almost feverish, and the memory of that dream came back in a painful flash, seeing his body tumbling down, the wind tearing at his own body.
Too late again, Jason.
He forced the thought away, though a bit of a frown crossed his face.

He hadn't forgotten the last time they'd talked, covered in fear-sweat and acting calm, after that dream of Jason's. He noted the intense look but ignored it--there could be several reasons Jason was looking at him like that, none of which he wanted to address. "To what do I owe the pleasure?"

"How's business?"

He reached into one pocket, twisting slightly so he could pull out a cigarette and his matches. "Just one of those days."

True, the only cities he has any recollection of seeing, of knowing, were a ruined shambles--but if he rebuilt them in his mind's eye, he could not see them looking like this, from the details like screens and rooftiles to even the overall shape of them. And when he pressed his ruined memory, looking for some sort of familiarity, it remained so--a village such as this was not one he had ever seen or been in.
Thus he wandered its streets, frequently looking up and around, to take it all in--so much so that he almost didn't notice the staring from the other inhabitants, due both to his manner of dress and his stature. As such, the stall of the man who had spoken to him yesterday did not escape his notice--nor did the strange things he had out to sell. Curious, he bent over to get a closer look. "What are these?"

He looked down, expecting to see the man pointing at something in particular, but no--he seemed to be talking about everything in front of Ginko. He looked back up with a shrug and a slightly broader smile. "My wares. Medicines, good luck charms." He grinned, suddenly. "Maybe even a love potion or two."

"Potions, ethers, elixirs?" He asked, curiosity changing to intrigue. Those could be useful... he leaned over further, and took hold of something odd: pieces of paper with something--either writing or painting, he couldn't tell which--inked on them. "What are these?"

Peering at the particular ones the man had picked up, he said, "Those are a sleeping potion... and that one helps to dull pain."
[[ooc: *Sob* I couldn't find a picture, but they basically look like little triangles or oblongs of folded paper with powered medicines inside, all tied to a single string.]]

Well, it probably didn't matter. He smiled in a business-like way, leaning forward slightly. "Medicines, elixirs, good luck charms... were you looking for something in particular?"

It appeared that he found another scientist, or at least a small time doctor. That might be nice to have someone to compare some notes on about this new world. Mayuri was curious as to what this man already found.

None of the things were instant cures, of course. But they helped more than nothing at all.

"Got anything that would blow shit up?" He stops in front of the man, shoes scuffing a bit on the road.

And then the words actually registered and the half-smile slid away, leaving his face expressionless and blank. He stared at the person for a few seconds before he spoke. "Uhhhh... no. Sorry."
He paused briefly before adding, "Any reason why you'd want something like that?"
