[Jessica only has to look out of the house and can see a definite party going around. Every one is cheering, toasting to each other and she's pretty sure she just saw a couple making out pretty heavily that might come to a romp in the bushes. Or whatever will count as bushes in Yomisato anyway.

Jessica comes back in to the house.]

[ The sounds were what alerted Chrome first.

The Hitomi, and now the ruckus of the townspeople outside. Combined with that broadcast from before (although she had been a child at the time, and thus her memory of it continues to be fogged) -- that other goddess -- Chrome is feeling somewhat uncertain.

Party. The word had been used. Although this is not a party so far as she understands the term. ]

-- Loud, today.

[ Meaning she will investigate, if necessary. But she would rather it blow over shortly before it comes to that. ]

[Mukuro, meanwhile, is positively chipper, sipping tea and tapping his fingers against the table, playing a manic little beat.] I must say, I was a little skeptical before, but this party is looking to be rather exciting, isn't it?

Inside Raikou's cave

[Raikou'd been sitting there, reading quietly as Gau slept nearby in his futon and Yoite sat across the fire from him, seemingly staring at nothing. Neither of them spoke and that was alright, for now. He was simply feeling too uneasy to sleep properly.

But then that awful screeching over the Hitomi, echoed in triplicate within the dark confines of the cave, turned what was a mild sense of unease into dread. Without thought he smashed the device against the wall and lept to his feet, dark eyes intent as he snatched his gamon off the shelf as he eyed the steadily pouring water.]

Gau! Yoite! What in the--

[But then several grotesque looking somethings are bursting through the water, eyes bright with malice and without another word, he was moving forward, blade singing out of its sheath as he darted forward only to spin below a grabbing arm before slicing the first one clean in two.]

[Yoite hadn't been starting at nothing. In fact he hadn't stopped staring at Daku-Allen since the dark angel had appeared in his shrine, and now he kept a mindful wary eye as the being stood to Raikou's right. Yoite hadn't mentioned the angel to either Gau or Raikou. Allen himself hadn't been able to see Daku-Allen...so why would Raikou and Gau be able to?

However, he is yanked out of his musings by that sudden shrieking sound coupled with Raikou's cry, and with a single breath he bounds upward, launching himself up and off the wall, then as he soared just below the ceiling, shoots at a second monster with his kira]

Raikou-san watch out! [He calls as another approaches Raikou from behind, and more make their way in.]

[The noise itself had cut into Gau's dream, but he'd almost thought it was just part of the dream, at first.

In fact, it took him a second to realize he was awake, because the sudden presence of monsters wasn't exactly something he'd been prepared for. All the same, once he heard the voices of his friends, he was moving quickly, jumping up out of the bed and reaching for his gamon, one hand already holding a kunai as he moved.]

What are these things?

[And even as he said it, he was striking his first one down.]

Allen's house - lvl 4 battle at midnight (mostly closed)

[Just before people begin to see terrible things flooding into the town, one house in Hisato suddenly has a hole in its wall, dust and particles of wood erupting from an explosion of gunfire.

Allen kind of doesn't really care about the state of the house anymore, though.

Dazed for a moment from the explosion and having just flung himself over Timothy and Dre to shield them as best he could with Crown Clown's cloak, he blinks before glancing sharply towards where the fire came from. No mistaking that gunfire, that -

Eyes widen, then narrow. There it was. Kannagara or not, whether it made sense or not, whether his eye didn't seem to work quite right here... No mistaking that. Nothing else looked like the soul of an akuma, no matter where it was, especially not that kind.

Level 4.]

[Timothy has seen a Level 4 before, back when several Akuma nearly leveled the orphanage. He knows how ruthless and terrifying they could be. But back then had been different: most notably, he had been distracted by his own fights with the Level 2s and 3s, so he hadn't been able to focus specifically on the Level 4 and all its terror

[Dre can only just stare, eyes wide and heart thudding as his mind races. This is certainly something he has no experience with. Not even in nightmares. Was this a nightmare? Was he still asleep? Was this some strange side effect of this world? He is almost too shocked to even be frightened, just numbly watching as Allen throws himself over them.

Debris, explosions, this had to be real... it felt too much to be fake...and the way Allen had reacted...saving everybody again... but like he knew what it was....

is this something from Allen's world? One of the things Mr. Lavi had mentioned? The 'war'?

Mind suddenly coming back to him, and sense of danger slamming full into his chest, Dre covers his head]

W-what is that thing?! [He chokes out]
