And it was early morning as he paced about on his room as the rabbit hopped around on the floor, nearly tripping him a few times like it liked doing to Yu, when he heard the door open. He perked up, almost tensing a little, and then there was a voice.
And as frustrated as he felt about everything, he suddenly felt warm at hearing that voice not over the Hitomi for once, again. His gaze shifted down and eventually stopped on the rabbit, and he made a soft "tch" sound, leaning his head down a bit.
"What do you want?" he grumbled, dammit it felt almost like he missed this little thing and that was fucking wrong and not something he did, damn Lavi and his parallels to rabbits and this rabbit acting all too much like Lavi for good all the time they've shared this roof, blast. "Like my smell or something?"

Lavi snorted a little and crossed his arms, shifting on his feet. "Think he does," he said, with amusement but still blankly somehow. "Maybe. But I said he missed ya, didn't I?"
Or it was just missing someone to trip. It didn't have much luck with him. Hah.
